Try listening to leaves, what can they mean,     They make you believe, Or is it just a dream.    The leaves and their flowers, what do they know, They colour the hours, Or is there more to know   

Look, one of them lies, Maybe it sighs, as it descended, Said, why has it ended?                Does this for me, have to be?

I look at these trees, their leaves are dancing, They’ve been there for years, What are they thinking?

But, is it too late, is it my fate to live without him, So like leaves I question, Does this for me have to be.     

Yet, leaves seem to wave, saying be brave, Till Time has mended, Dark and light are blended, This does they say, have to be
